Qima Rio Ata Washed Chiroso

$22.00

Josh’s Notes:
Smells of lime peels on bag open. On grind, a very clear note of pineapple juice from the tin. A light scent of white grapes on wet. In the cup a strikingly clear resemblance to biting a ripe green grape. The acid unfolds in your mouth like a Gusher. A lovely black tea and papaya in the background. Cup is very clean and soft feeling in the mouth. A round, balanced cup with just the right amount of acid. The washed processing really makes this coffee feel ultra clean and special. It has definitely earned it’s 90+ rating.

If you are looking for a washed, competition grade chiroso, this is one is really good.

Raw Sugar Roast’s Notes:
“Tolima Province is the epicenter of the civil war that lasted for half a century.

During this time, many coffee farmers were forced to give up their coffee cultivation due to this conflict.

In 2016, the disarming by the peace agreement ended the conflict and revived the coffee industry as a "symbol of peace."

This series was created to represent the history of the cultural heritage of Colombian coffee and for people seeking the world's highest coffee experience.”

Roasted light and spectacularly by our friends at Raw Sugar Roast in Tokyo, Japan, rested for 7 days, then vacuum packed and frozen.
